Inspired by Thovile, a sacred Sri Lankan ritual of healing and exorcism, this piece channels the ancient practice of cleansing negative energies, illness, and spiritual afflictions to restore balance and banish evil. Rooted in myth and mysticism, Thovile unfolds through the night in powerful confrontations between darkness and light.

The artwork captures a masked dancer mid-ritual, fire torch raised beneath a swirling night sky, while drummers summon protective spirits through rhythm. In a symbolic jungle, leopards, birds, and jungle cats watch from the shadows as drumbeats ripple through the trees.
